Please use this form to request to speak at one of the Council's public meetings.

Please note that normally no more than 3 speakers are allowed to speak at a meeting on any one subject, with each individual speaker being restricted to 3 minutes. Where there are several speakers who wish to raise the same issue we would encourage you to nominate a spokesperson on behalf of others. The Chairman of the Committee is able to extend the number of speakers or the length of time for public speakers if they feel necessary.
Please note that several of the Council's meetings are webcast for live and/or subsequent broadcast online. At the start of the meeting the Chairman will confirm if all or part of the meeting will be filmed by the Council. The footage will be on the Councilís website, a copy of it will also be retained in accordance with the Councilís data retention policy. By attending the meeting, you are deemed to have consented to being filmed by the Council and to your name being disclosed during that meeting.

Advance notice of questions, statements or deputations should be submitted in writing a minimum of 2 clear working days before a meeting to enable an answer to be given at the meeting. If no advance notice is given then a written answer may be provided after the meeting.
Please not that there is a separate process to register to speak at meetings of the Development Management Committee (DMC). If you wish to register at a DMC meeting please contact the Governance Services Team by emailing committeemeetings@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk
